Glam Glow Mud Mask Review | Youth Mud

I received a sample of Glam Glows youth mud tinlexolate treatment in February edition of You Beauty discovery Box.
I must say about all other beauty product, face products are my number one priority and favourite. I believe that it doesn't matter how much make up you put on, if you skin is bad your not going to get that flawless face we all strive to achieve.
So this product most definitely intrigued me from the start. It derives from Hollywood California, it was originally designed for backstage use on film, music & fashion for instant camera glowing skin. This product very much loved by celebrities such as Michael Buble, Natalie Portman and Miley Cyrus.
I know what you're thinking, another celebrity hyped product that isn't all that! But trust me this product truly stands on it own accord. I al

About the product

GLAMGLOW's mud base is from Southern France, home to glamorous Cannes, St. Tropez and Monaco.

Teaoxi™ - Patent Pending formula is GLAMGLOW®’s continuous time-release
technology, delivering fresh Super-Squalene, EGCG Super-Antioxidants and
Polyphenols directly into the mud from real pieces of Tea Leaf. Super powerful
TEAOXI™ is responsible for brightening the complexion, protecting against free
radicals, hydrating and balancing the oil levels in the skin.
Volcanic Minerals - Pulverized into Micro Pumice, these ancient rock minerals
give multi-level surface exfoliation and stimulate microcirculation, helping to
detoxify and awaken the skin, reduce puffiness, under-eye circles and smooth
fine lines while softening the skin’s texture to reveal younger looking skin.
French Sea Clay - Dredged off the coast of Southern France and when combined
with TEAOXI™ a tingling sensation is created, triggering 12 hours of Collagen
Synthesis for a noticeable wrinkle deduced 3-day glow. French Sea Clay absorbs
impurities and toxic substances reducing pore size and helping to look younger
by reducing the appearance of age.

I applied that mask with my fingers; it says you should apply with a foundation brush for a good even application.
I was first a little shocked by the mask, it has little bits of tea leaves in it which I found peculiar at as it looked like I have scrapped mud of the ground and slapped it across my face, twigs and leaves included.
The product itself smells really nice; a real herbal/lavender scent which really helps to relaxes you if you're having a bit of TLC time. After a few minutes of application the mask starts to tighten and you start to feel a warm tightening and you start to feel a warm tingling sensation, this is the blood flowing to make you skin come alive. The sensation is not over bearable at all but if you are someone with sensitive skin I would suggest you take to make off as soon as you start feeling uncomfortably rather than waiting the recommended 10 minute otherwise remove after the recommend time (or longer if you feel like it).
Wash the mask of with warm water or micellar water. You really need to give it a good rub to remove the mask and this is where you get the exfoliation from; I would recommend you take extra care around the eyes & if you have sensitive skin. It is a tough exfoliation but this is where it works some magic on your skin.

This is by far the best face mask I have ever used. My skin felt so soft, like a baby’s bottom & had such a gorgeous glow. I think these results are even better then some results I've had from having a professional facials. This product really does do what it says on the tin. I also love that fact its 100% paraben-free, cruelty-free, and suitable for vegans.

Would I but the full size product? Yes I would. The price is steep at £44.90 for 50ml, you would of hoped to get more for that price, but that being said the product itself really is worth it for what it does for your skin. I think using this product could easily replace professional facials you might have, saving you money.  If you really want to try this product you can buy a try before you buy kit that includes **** Youth mud, super mud and bright mud for £13.00 **** or you could have a look on eBay.
This product really does make your skin look like a million dollars and make you feel like a Hollywood Superstar.

February Wish List

Just wanted to share of my product desires this month, obviously I have way more then 5 but I thought id keep this short and sweet.

1) GlamGlow's Super-Mud Cleansing Treatment £44.99

I have received a sample of Glamglow’s Youth Tinglexfoliate Treatment and I think it is truly remarkable so of course I now really want to try the Cleansing Mud as well. These muds are very pricey so I am going to buy myself a sample size before I commit to buying it, too see which one I prefer. I would love the buy both full size products but at the prices they are that’s not an option.

I have read some great review blogs on this product and really wanted to get my hands on it. I am always on the lookout for a new moisturiser and as I am nearly at the end of my current moisturiser once I have finished it this will definitely be my next buy.

I am a big worrier of my dark circles and very conscious of them. Getting a great concealer is of great importance to me and my key to my “flawless” face. I have been debating and researching what will be my next concealer and this one came out on top and was also the winner of best concealer for Instyle magazines Best Beauty Buy Award 2014.

4) Brow Bar To Go | Whitening Lightning £25.00

This product has not been released in the UK and is US based. I first heard of this products from watching the amazing Carli Bybel (who I love, envy & adore). Ever since then I've been obsessing about it and whether to get this product or not. I really want it but will have to have it shipped over from the US. Or take a risk and by one off of EBay.

I really wanted to add this brush to my collection. I'm really into my power highlighter at the moment and this brush Is the prefect brush for highlighter power application. All the reviews I read have really rated this brush and of course the Real Techniques brushes are simply brilliant.

Rimmel London's Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer Eye Liner Review

I wanted to do a quick little blog spot on the Rimmel London's Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer Eye Liner.
I had previously been using MAC’s Technakohl Eyeliner in Graphblack but had somehow lost it which I’m gutted about. So being without an eyeliner was not an option so I quickly poped to my local Superdrug to pick up a cheap eyeliner to bide me over until I could repurchase the MAC eyeliner.
For me an eyeliner much have to things for me to purchase it A) it must be waterproof as I use it on my waterline and my eyes tend to be quite watery so I don’t want to end up looking like a panda at the end of the day (which some eyeliners have). B) The eyeliner must be in a retractable plastic case, I am not a fan of sharpening pencils as I once had a pencil that scratched my eye which was a very unpleasant experience to say the least. I already owned the liquid eyeliner in this range so this was a quick logical choice.

The eyeliner has a very nice soft creamy texture which means you really don’t have you apply much pressure when putting on the product. The colour is a really intense black which doesn’t budge. It truly is a waterproof product; I have no smudging or panda eyes which I was so happy with. Its staying power is remarkable, I have taken two pictures below one with just one application and the second after I had smudged the eyeliner. As you can tell it really does have great staying power and still keeps its intensity.

I would from the bottom of my heart recommend this product! The eyeliner can be purchased for £3.99 which is a far better deal than when I was spending £14 on a product that gave exactly the same results. I will be repurchasing this one from now on and is my new number 1.

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream Review

I received two samples of Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream in January's
Glossy Box, I had never heard of the Yu-Be brand before but as I am always looking out for the next best moisturiser I was happy to put the products to some use.

The Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin cream is a glycerin-based moisturizing cream enriched with Vitamin E, Vitamin B2 and Camphor. It target area is dry skin and is formulated to treat eczema & dermatitis (being a psoriasis suffer myself thought this product could be right up my street). You can use it as a face/body cream or a lip balm.

The first thing I must comment on is the smell. It is quite a potent smell and basically smells like Vicks Vaporub. The smell does quickly fade as it is stated, just a little bit of a shock when you first put it on.

The cream itself has a yellow colouring and is quite thick in texture. I thought that the cream might leave my skin feeling oily but this wasn't the case and it quickly absorbs into the skin. For me it leaves a slight silicone texture on my skin. I wouldn't recommend that this us used for of a night cream for A) it gives the cream time to really sink into the skin and works its magic and B) this isn't a cream you want to be putting make up over, it hasn't skinned into the skin properly it will make you make up cakey.

Yes I would recommend this product but as a night cream. This would really suit people with dry skin, eczema, psoriasis ect. You can buy this product from Boots at £19.50 for a 70g tub which is a little steep for the amount you get but this product is worth it. Have a hunt on Amazon and such places where you could possibly find the product cheaper.

Beauty & Make Up Haul | Liz Earle, MAC, Maybelline, Urban Decay & B.Pure

Last Friday I went and treated myself to a little beauty haul (and wasn't even pay day). I didn't really “need and of the products I bought but when does “needing” something ever come into factor.

Being a creature of habit, when I find a product I love I find it hard to try something new. I have always used the YSL Touche Eclat highlighter pen and seeing as it was the forefather of all highlighter pens I didn’t think anything could top it.
So I thought it was time for a little change and I bought myself the MAC Prep & Prime Highlighter Pen in Bright Forecast. I have read great reviews about the product so I wouldn't be left regretting  bying the this product instead of the  Touche Eclat.
I haven’t got an ultimate opinion  of which I prefer more out of the two as I have only been using it a week but I can certainly say I'm not disappointed.

After hearing nothing but amazing things about the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish and Skin Tonic I desperately wanted these products. But since I had spent a load of money on my Arbonne products I couldn't justify spending more money until I have finished my current products. I am truly over the moon with these products and can’t wait to use them each day.

Previously being more of a liquid pen fan for an eyeliner I had never really been interested in going gel side. My sister has been using the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner for a while now and really swears by it so thought I’d give it a go. I read a tonne of review saying this eyeliner was particularly good (even in casing trumping the MAC Fluidline eyeliner).

I basically bought the B.Pure micellar water as I was in the queue at Superdrug and saw it on offer. I am currently using the L’Oreal Skin Perfection micellar water which is soon to run out, so I thought id give this one a go and see how it compares.

Being at the Urban Decay's naked master class last week I was introduced to a few new goodies including the Big Fatty mascara and Naked loose finishing powder which I had to buy immediately. I also purchased two eye shadows in shades Sin & Midnight Rodeo, I love love love their eye shadows and these were some amazing shades to add to my collection. I also bought their lipstick in Native. I already owned obsessed and since I saw this shade I really wanted it, so very happy with this purchase.

I will be doing full reviews on some of the products featured here later on. I really like to give the products time before I write a review and give my final opinion as want it to be as fair as possible.

Lip Voltage By Dream Weave Product Review & Results

As many of you are aware there was a buzz created by Geordie Shore's Holly Hagen after she posted a picture on Twitter of her lips having used Lip Voltage and the results were very impressive.

Basically I have a non existent top lip and a minimal bottom one and although having small lips it has never really bothered me (until now). I would love to have bigger lips so really wanted this give this product a try and see if I could achieve a good result.

(Lip Gloss)

(Mix Up)

The product comes in two parts, the first part is the lip gloss. It is a clear lipgloss that is a quick adsorbing peptide lip treatment to fill and volumise the lips.
The second part is the "Mix Up", this is the part that give you that plumping power and the "voltage".

Before use, you add up to 3 drops of the mix up into the lipgloss, the more drops you put in the more voltage you get.

This is me before & after ..............................

As you can see from my before and after photo you do get a good result in my opinion.

This product is definitely not for the faint hearted, it give you a burning sensation which is not at all pleasant. Be careful how many drops you put into the lip gloss as the pain can be unbearable if you add too many. I say start with 1 and build your way up.

The burning sensation last for about 20 minutes after the application, as for the plumped effect, it states it can last up to 24 hours but this was not the case for me. I would say it lasted up to an hour at most, I was finding myself reapplying it quite often and this is not ideal when out and about as you will keep having to feel the burn.

Basically the question is the plum worth the pain?

I would recommend this product but only to those who can deal with pain.

Urban Decay Naked Master Class

I must say I was delighted to be invited to Urban Decay's Naked Master Class (Essex), I have attending their Xmas party in December and after the success of that I know this one would be a knock out. Guests where offered a choice of drinks and snacked throughout the event, which I had my fair share of.

The main focus of the event was to talk through different looks you can achieve with their naked products, including a great day look and a glamours night look but also to introduce some of their new products.

For the first look they demonstrated a simple everyday look. The products used for this look was the BB Cream, the new Naked Skin Loose Finishing Powder, Naked Palette, Lush Lash Mascara and the new Naked Ultra Nourishing Lipgloss.

I must admit I haven't been much of a powder user in the past and its not one of my top products, but when I saw the it being applied I was amazed, I looked so flawless and was only applied over the BB cream. Its obviously not a full coverage but defiantly gave an outstanding result. The powder its self was so smooth, like a baby's bottom as they would say.

The second look was a a glamorous night time look, the products that were used for this looked were the Naked Foundation, Naked Powder, Naked 3 palette, Naked Ultra Lipgloss and the new Naked 24/7 Double Ended Eyeliner. These new eye-liners are tailor designed to be used co-inside with each Naked palette with makes then a unique asset to using the Naked Palettes.

They offered a lot of tips & tricks which were really use full and a lot of detail about what is actually in their products (will post some of these in later blogs) and really did offer a great event.

Every guest was given a little goodies bag at the end which offered BB Cream, Make Up Bag, Eye primers and perfume samples.

I was also lucky to be choose to win the events price of  large Urban Decay box of goodies which I was over the moon about.

There will definitely be product reviews to come and also in April they are launching a new product which I'm so excited about.

Anatomicals Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer

We all have our little body hang ups we obsess about and my dark circles/bags are one of them.
I have spent many hours searching the internet for the best products and tips out there with some times the most minimal of luck.

So when I received the Anatomical's Puff eye bag patches I really looked forward to giving this product a go and seeing the results.

The first thing I loved about this product is the name, it’s quirky, funny and it gives a great edge.
The packaging is basic but fitting to the product and it comes with simple instruction on the back.

The patches should be worn for 30 minutes but I must say I left them on a little longer. Along with the eye patches I also applied a face mask to get a full relaxation effect.
They are a rubbery/jelly like texture which helps them stick to the eyes really well,
as well as being filled with vitamins and collagen that help reduce puffiness and dark circles the patches are also enriched with moisture to help prevent ageing of the under eye skin.
My eyes definitely felt amazingly refreshed after removing the patches, I did notice that they helped reduce the puffiness of the eye but not much difference to the dark circles.

This product can be found on ASOS and would recommend its worth a try. As for many product, their is no over night success.
I am a strong believer that you need to treat your body from the inside as well as out.
So if you are prone to dark circles and puffy bags I recommend the following tips to help reduce them as well as using products like Puffy the eye bag slayer.

1) - Water, water and more water. And this goes for every aspect of life. Water is truly the best beauty treatment you can give yourself.

2) - Get your beauty sleep. I know this can be harder said then done, as many of us (including myself) suffer from a lack of being able to fall asleep and when eventually do, prone to sleep being broken. But we all must try are hardest to get the sleep we need and deserve.

3) - Eat right - Yes I know this is another "common sense" tip but it is really important. Get plenty of vitamin B12, eat your fruit and vegetable especially your leafy greens.
